WHAT EDIMOTION IS ABOUT
Edimotion is the world's oldest film festival that focuses exclusively on the art of film editing. Since 2001, it has offered the German-speaking editing community an annual event to showcase their work, facilitate discussion, and win awards. Since 2012, Edimotion has expanded its outreach to editors from all over the globe.

Looking Back at Edimotion 2025
The 25th edition of Edimotion is now over, and we hope you’ll remember it as fondly as we do. Not only were we able to watch films together, but we also had many great conversations and spent some lovely hours both inside and outside the cinemas.
